Woman released from federal prison in NXIVM case

One of the faces of the NXIVM cult, Allison Mack, was released from federal prison on Monday.
This story was first reported by the Times Union. The Federal Bureau of Prison confirms she was released on Monday.
Mack is a former television star who provided women to NXIVM cult leader Keith Raniere.
She was held at FCI Dublin, a low security prison near Oakland, California.
She was sentenced in 2021 to three years in prison.
It’s unclear at this time why she was released early.
