Woman struck, killed on Watervliet Avenue Extension

A 74-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a car in Albany on Friday.

It happened just before 6 p.m. in the area of 104 Watervliet Ave. Extension.

on Friday night, police said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver is cooperating with the investigation.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
