Woman wanted on manslaughter warrant in Schoharie County has been captured
The Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office says a woman wanted in connection with a manslaughter has been captured.
Jenna Fahrenkopf, formerly known as Jenna Beretz, is accused of killing Jeffrey Mickle.
Investigators say they arrested Fahrenkopf Saturday for manslaughter in the first degree after she contacted the sheriff’s office with her location.
She will be arraigned in Schoharie County Court.
Mickle, 41, of Middleburgh had been last seen on Nov. 25. His body was found in the town of Broome with several apparent gunshot wounds.
Last December, Michael Todtschinder and Walter Fahrenkopf were arrested in connection to the case.
Todtschinder was charged with second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence. Fahrenkopf was arrested on a charge of concealment of a human corpse.
Police have not released a motive for the killing.
The sheriff’s office thanks the public for their assistance.
