9/11 first responder meets life-saving bone marrow donor
Sal Parisi was one of the first responders on September 11. Years later, he was diagnosed with two rare forms of leukemia.
As part of his treatment, Parisi had a bone marrow transplant from an anonymous donor. It was a new lease on life, with the help of a complete stranger who is now family.
Parisi is now in remission, and recently met his donor face-to-face for the first time.
