Workers at Albany International Airport are gearing up for the busy holiday travel season.

The $100 million construction project at the airport that is underway right now will cause a few extra inconveniences.

The deadline for the project to be finished is this time next year.

Meanwhile, Transportation Security Administration agents were on hand Tuesday to help teach travelers how to make sure they get through security quickly and smoothly. That all starts with planning ahead and packing properly.

One agent gave a demonstration of what holiday-themed items are allowed in your carry-on bags.
