A child born prematurely is defying all odds, and is now a member of MENSA.

Joe White, 6, of Little Rock, Arkansas, took the test for the prestigious IQ society, and passed with flying colors.

Joe was born prematurely at 28 weeks. Doctors and specialists tried to prepare his parents for challenges along the way. However, Joe was reciting his alphabet backwards at 2 years old, and spelling multi-syllable words. He also loves math.

Joe’s family says anything is possible – and their son is a product of that. They want this to help encourage the families of premature babies.

Learn about some of the other amazing skills Joe has already taught himself, by watching the story from KARK in Little Rock.
