Arkansas man creates eight-foot Johnny Cash statue

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – For the past two years, Kevin Kresse has been working on his latest project.

He was commissioned to create an eight-foot bronze statue of country music icon and Arkansas native son — Johnny Cash.

Once complete, it will be displayed in Statuary Hall at the U.S. Capitol. That’s a moment Kresse says he can’t wait for.

He expects to finish his work of art in the next week or so. When he’s done, it will be sent to a foundry for the actual bronze casting to be made.
