Barbie unveils new Tina Turner doll

Barbie recently unveiled its new Tina Turner doll to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her legendary hit, “What’s Love Got to Do with It.”
According to a press release, the new Tina Turner Barbie doll “is wearing a black mini dress paired with a denim jacket, inspired by the iconic outfit Tina wore in the music video for the chart-topping single.”
The multi-Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, known for hits such as “Proud Mary” “The Best” and “I Don’t Wanna Lose You,” had her life story portrayed in the 1993 film “What’s Love Got To Do With It” starring Angela Bassett, earning the actor a best actress Academy Award nomination.
The Tina Turner Barbie doll is part of the Barbie Signature Music Series.
