You probably care a lot about your best friend, so imagine how you’d feel if you found out your friend was your sibling! That is exactly what happened to a woman in Connecticut.

Julia Tinetti and Cassandra Madison worked at the same New Haven restaurant back in 2013. However, that’s not all they shared in common.

They both grew up in Connecticut, and they were both adopted from the Dominican Republic.

Years later, after Cassandra had moved to Virginia, she got a 23andMe DNA test, and located her biological family in the Dominican Republic.

With the signs mounting, she persuaded Julia to also take a DNA test. Sure enough, Cassandra was listed at the top of DNA relatives.
