Hudson River Community Credit Union is asking members to stay alert for suspicious phone calls seeming to be from the bank.

The callers impersonate a credit union employee and ask about fraud on your account.

They will then ask you to verify your online banking login ID, give answers to your security questions and a one-time passcode.

The scammers then reset your password and get into your account.

The credit union reminds you that they will never contact you asking for sensitive account information.
