First Warning Forecast

Today was seasonably warm and dry, so it was a pleasant end to our weekend. Although we’ve experienced a drier start to the month of June, beneficial rain is on the way. Our next area of low pressure is expected to make its way into the capital region late Monday. The start of the work week will trend mostly dry, however the chance of scattered showers cannot be ruled out. Spotty showers are excepted to linger into the early morning hours on Tuesday. Unsettled weather is expected by midweek as another upper level low pressure system works its way in from our west. Rain coverage is expected to be more widespread in nature by Wednesday. A drier pattern will emerge by the end of the week. Highs this week will remain in the mid to upper 70s. Lows will be mild in the 50s and low 60s.

Have a great evening!
