Fonda boil water advisory lifted
The boil water advisory in Fonda has been lifted. The recent advisory was caused by a water main break last Wednesday. It follows one that was in place for much of July.

People there can now go back to regularly using their water.
The recent advisory was caused by a water main break last Wednesday, Aug. 21.
People there had already dealt with a boil water order for the entire month of July, when a water tank at the filtration plant spilled into the village reservoir. That advisory was just lifted Aug. 5.
