Halfmoon apartment padlocked as septic issues persist

The Duke’s Grove apartment doors were padlocked by police on September 21.

Halfmoon officials declared the property uninhabitable on September 13 due to a septic leak, forcing the town to shut off the building’s water supply.

On September 20, residents of Duke’s Grove were told to pack up and leave their residents. Many people affected by this sewage issue told us they have nowhere else to go.
