Kentucky college students research human hair as possible repair tool

Research is underway at the University of Kentucky to study how human hair can be beneficial to much-needed repairs to structures and bridges.

While it sounds strange, the hair is actually a fiber reinforcement.

The average strength of human hair is about 30,000 pounds per square inch, which is another added benefit.
