The owner of Nemer Auto Group is paying for a Lake George student to attend college.

Robert Nemer has donated $10,000 to Kelly’s Angels, whose volunteer board will then work with Lake George school officials to select a deserving student. The scholarship will go to a 2024 Lake George graduate who has persevered through adversity and will cover the cost of two years at SUNY Adirondack.

Nemer said he hopes the scholarship will encourage people to get their education locally.
