A man is dead after being struck and killed by a pickup truck in Berkshire County. 

Great Barrington Police said the man was walking on Route 7 on Wednesday at around 6 a.m. when he was hit by a pickup truck, according to The Berkshire Eagle, NewsChannel 13’s media partner.  

Officers said they got a call about a man wearing dark clothing and walking in the middle of the road.  

The victim’s name is not being released pending notification of next of kin. 

Police said the driver is not facing any charges.
