Members of Temple Sinai Shmita community in Saratoga joined with students and their families to seal a time capsule on the synagogue grounds Sunday, October 2.

Members of the Jewish community were invited to write messages about their personal lives, views on faith, and what they think lies in store for the future.

Temple Sinai’s Director of Education, Sylvia Bloom, tells NewsChannel 13 that according to the Hebrew lunar calendar, every seven years members of the Jewish faith celebrate a time of “reset.”
