It was a special trip to the polls on Tuesday for a Tennessee teenager.

She voted for just her second time ever alongside her 101-year-old grandmother, who’s been voting for decades.

Betty Potts said she’s voted in every election she can.

Her 18-year-old granddaughter, Mara, finally got to join her for her second time voting.

Mrs. Potts is the mother of Jefferson County, Tennessee Mayor Mike Potts.

He won re-election back in August.

Poll workers said they hope to see Mrs. Potts again in 2024.
