ROANOKE, Va. – It may look like a small shed from the outside, but inside lies a new opportunity to get one more person off the streets. With windows, lights and solar panels installed, Brandon Brando designed an 8 feet by 4 feet shelter.

Inside is insulation, a fan, even a coffee maker. There are also locks on the door.

The home was created for Dawn, a woman who is homeless.

When Dawn learned about the surprise, she could not hold her excitement.
