Troy Police arrest two on gun, drug charges
Troy Police arrested a Cooperstown man for allegedly having an illegal “ghost gun.”
Officers responded to the area of Lincoln Avenue and 4th Street on Monday around 5 p.m. for a report of a disturbance.
Jalah L. Wimberly, 22, allegedly had a loaded privately made firearm and an extended magazine. Maria L. Petersen, 19, allegedly had cocaine.
Wimberly was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
They were held pending arraignment in Troy City Court.
