Troy to review police speed, camera policies in wake of deadly crash

The Troy City Council will hold a Public Safety Committee meeting to review police speed and camera policies.

This comes in the wake of a State Police report that found a Troy police officer was at fault in a deadly crash back in February.

Public Safety Chair Sue Steele is calling for a meeting with the city administration to review policies regarding speed, cameras and sirens as well as ongoing training and discipline. The meeting will take place in City Council Chambers on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
