Walk for Pancreatic Cancer set for Sunday

It’s the third leading cause of cancer death in the United States and on Sunday people are invited to help make a difference in the fight against pancreatic cancer.

The 20th anniversary of the Lustgarten Foundation Albany Capital District Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research is Sunday, Sept. 10.

Over the past 20 years, the walk has raised more than $1.5 million. Shari and Neil Piper said they are hoping to see at least 600 people – a turnout that they haven’t seen since the pandemic.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Elm Avenue Town Park in Delmar.
