Three Watervliet police officers have been promoted to sergeant.

Officers Jared Ellis, Joseph McQueen and Vincent Nischo were sworn in by Mayor Charles Patricelli at the Watervliet Senior Center.

Police Chief Joseph Cantanni introduced them and said he was proud of their efforts and dedication to the department.
