Two West Texas woman – Ellie Hamby and Sandy Hazelip – embarked on a mission to travel the world in 80 days – at the age of 81.
The longtime friends tried to do it at age 80, but the pandemic had other plans.
They’ve been to such places as Egypt, Finland, Japan and even Antarctica.
Hamby is a photographer, and Hazelip is a doctor. They started to travel when their husbands died.
They’ve been documenting the journey on TikTok and gaining lots of followers along the way.
