A 22-year-old woman is in critical condition, after being hit by a car near Crossgates Commons in Albany.

The woman was hit in the crosswalk of Washington Avenue Extension around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

She has injuries to her head and leg.

The driver is cooperating with the investigation.

No charges have been filed at this time.
