A federal judge in Florida has set August 14 for the start date of former President Donald Trump’s trial over classified documents.
However, it’s likely to be pushed to a later date because of the complexities of the case, experts said.
Trump – who is seeking the 2024 Republican presidential nomination – was indicted June 8 on 37 counts related to more than 100 classified documents discovered at his Mar-A-Lago home last August.
He has pleaded not guilty.
