A beach library was recently put in place in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Having seen something similar circulating on social media, high school senior Betty Foley decided to create one for the Ocean State for her high school senior project.

The first thing she had to do was reach out to town leaders. Once she got approval, she purchased pails and tons of toys.

Signs taped outside of the beach library let the public know this costs them nothing.
