1st-graders learn how to make apple cider in Troy

Kids got to try their hand at making some apple cider in Troy.
The 1st-grade students at Bell Top Elementary School – which is part of the East Greenbush Central School District – made homemade cider in the learning barn.
They learned about the cider process, simple machines, and measuring.
This is a longstanding school tradition.
