Cambridge School Board plans to fight back against order to remove Indian mascot

The Cambridge School Board was considering a measure Thursday evening to fight back against the court ban on its Indian mascot.

A resolution at the meeting would authorize district attorneys to file a notice of appeal to a ruling that the district has to stop using the Indian mascot.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post-Star report the district has already started removing Indian logos in compliance with a July 1 court-ordered deadline.
