Cambridge student raising awareness of sport for visually impaired
A sport that’s only for people who are visually impaired is growing in popularity.
Goalball is a game where one player tries to roll a ball into a net while another player tries to block it. A Cambridge High School student wants to raise awareness about it.
Jaron Barber has been playing the sport for six years.
He met a group of other visually impaired players last June at a camp at Penn State, and they competed in the National Goalball Championship.
