Cohoes back-to-school event brings free haircuts, backpacks

Free giveaways in Cohoes this weekend made sure kids had what they needed to start the school year off right.
Cohoes teamed up with Gent’s Barber Company for the first Back to School Bash for local children and families.
Besides providing free haircuts to students in grades K-12, Gent’s also handed out free backpacks full of school supplies to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.
