Hudson Falls boy, 7, celebrates cancer remission

A Hudson Falls boy who’s been battling brain cancer finally has a reason to celebrate.

Aiden Rodriguez, 7, had four major brain surgeries and a year of often painful treatment.

Aiden banged the gong at the Melodies Center Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center to let the world know his cancer is in remission.

NewsChannel 13 brought you his story in March as he and his family were beneficiaries of the South High Marathon Dance.

After all the challenges that come with the rare and aggressive cancer he’s fighting, Aiden is ready to just be a 2^nd-grader in Mrs. Hogan’s class.
