Kentucky students build sheds for flood victims

McKEE, Ky. – Students at the Jackson County Area Technology Center in Kentucky are lending a hand by building sheds for people impacted by recent floods.

Each structure the students build is heading to Eastern Kentucky.

The idea came about after one of their teachers came across an Eastern Kentucky family who lost everything. He told his students about it. They all agreed they could help by building these structures.

It’s taken raising a lot of money – money they still need more of.

The group understands that this could have happened to any of them – an important lesson driving them to help their neighbors.
