Nearly 200 athletes from Siena College joined the Walk to End Epilepsy this past weekend.

They came to honor Savannah, the 6-year-old daughter of former Assistant Coach Derek Brooks.

The athletes came in groups and included members of the women’s lacrosse team, the men’s basketball team, and the women’s basketball team.

Savannah had a seizure recently during basketball camp, said Brooks, and some of the college athletes saw it happen.

Savannah felt like a superhero at the walk, surrounded by her massive squad,  and even Southpaw!

NewsChannel 13’s Subrina Dhammi was the emcee.

See the big smile this all brought to Savannah’s face by watching the video.
