North Greenbush Police say drivers keep passing stopped school buses

Police in North Greenbush have some harsh words for drivers, who they said continue to pass stopped school buses.

Police posted on Facebook – detailing the flashing yellow lights, and the stop sign that signals a bus is stopped.

They went on to say, “We’re not sure what more the engineers designing buses can do to let you know a bus has stopped.”

Police then formally extended an invitation to all drivers to pay attention and avoid the $250 fine. They say it’s better used to bring baked goods or lunch to your local police department.
