Patrol officers to follow school buses

Patrol officers will be following school buses throughout the day on Thursday to take part in a statewide initiative, called Operation Safe Stop.
Monday also began of a week-long event focusing on traffic safety awareness.
The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee’s “No Empty Chair” initiative will focus on dangers to traffic safety – including speeding, car-seat safety, as well as problems connected to distracted and impaired driving.
