The Troy School District is giving a shoutout to our men and women in uniform.

Local police officers and firefighters in Troy spent time with the kids to celebrate “Read Across America” week.

The first responders were given the honor of being guest readers at Troy elementary schools.

The school district thanked them for their time and generosity in building a positive relationship with the community.
