There is funding available for programs that provide youth sports in Saratoga County.

The county’s Department of Aging and Youth Services is accepting funding requests from eligible programs.

More than $111,000 is available, with grants of up to $50,000.

Eligible entities include community-based organizations and nonprofits.

Entries will be evaluated for cost-effectiveness, impact and measurable outcomes.

The goal is to also serve a large cross-section of people.
Schools are not eligible.

Applications are due by Dec. 29.
