Saratoga schools and special Olympics NY celebrate young athletes
Saratoga Springs school district, along with Special Olympics New York, held a special event Friday morning to celebrate the newest participants of the young athletes program.

The four-week program helps children with and without intellectual disabilities in activities important to mental and physical development, like running, balance and catching.
Friday, the athletes got to show off their new skills.
Special Olympics New York hopes to do the program with as many local school districts as possible.
