Location of Troy cooling stations, splash pads

The city of Troy has opened cooling stations and splash pads to help people cope with the heat.

The cooling stations are open from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

• Rensselaer Park Elementary School, 70 110^th St.
• Historic Market in Little Italy, 5^th Ave., Liberty and Hill Street
• Lansignburgh Boys and Girls Club, intersection of 113^th Street and 4^th Avenue
• McClellan Avenue between O’Neil and Manning

The splash pads are open from sunrise to sunset at:

• Corliss Park, 1100 8^th Ave.
• Geneva Pompey Park, 7^th Avenue and Ingalls Avenue
• Frear Park, Lavin Court, adjacent to Frear Park Ice Rink
• Prospect Park, 65 Prospect Park Road
• William Chamberlain Riverfront Park, 255 Front St.
