Today’s Woman: Melia Dicker
Professional coach with ADHD is helping other adults with ADHD be their best selves.
ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Millions of Americans are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) but the symptoms can look different in women and men.
Melia Dicker was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40. She owns Rising Spiral Coaching helping other women with ADHD be their best selves.
“Women are actually pretty underdiagnosed, especially, it’s hard because we’re expected to be the organizers and the planners and, you know, as a mom, I’ve got two kids who also have ADHD, managing the time and money and stuff… We’re holding it together until we’re not.”
