The ability to adapt lessons for the individual student is what helps set our Top Teacher, Cori Spain, apart. Mrs. Spain is in her tenth year teaching the 4th grade at Holy Spirit School in East Greenbush.

Mrs. Spain often describes her position in the 4th grade classroom as full-time teacher and part-time tour guide. She leads the way, but she makes sure her students are with her every step of the way.

Spain also loves having the ability to share her faith as part of what she teaches. It’s the backbone to what she calls a classroom of kindness. That attitude towards others is recognized and rewarded.
