Saratoga Springs High School math teacher Mei Xia Ye always enjoyed the subject when she was growing up, she said.

However, she understands that some people struggle with it.

“Math is a different language. Some people love it and some don’t,” she said.

She uses real-life scenarios to help her students understand every lesson. She appreciates that students are receptive.
