We Salute You: Allen Pileckas

Please join us in saluting United States Marine Corps Cpl. Allen Pileckas of Hagaman. 

He served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II, and received medals, including a Purple Heart.

He passed away while fighting at Iwo Jima, but is also remembered for helping to save American lives.
