Please join us in saluting Army T/4 Sgt. Vincent Paparteys of Bayonne, New Jersey and Oneota.
The highly-decorated veteran joined the Army out of Albany in 1940 and served in Europe. That includes landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy on D-Day.
He passed away in 1993.
