A young man will spend 15 years behind bars for a drive-by shooting that left a boy paralyzed.
A judge sentenced 18-year-old Christopher George on Thursday. George had pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon.
The charges stem from a 2021 shooting that left 12-year-old M.J. Rivera paralyzed and an unrelated robbery indictment.
George will also serve to three additional years to run consecutively for attempted robbery.
