Pittsfield parks closed for winterization

The city of Pittsfield says tonight it’s transitioning to fall.

So what does that mean?

As of Monday, these parks will be closed.

The city’s building maintenance department has started the annual process of winterization.

That includes both water and power shut-off at park facilities, which also includes bathrooms
and water sprinklers, through the fall and winter seasons.
