Albany County reports 1,000+ new COVID cases for 3rd straight day

For the third consecutive day, there are more than 1,000 new positive COVID cases in Albany County.
In the latest update on Monday, Albany County Executive Dan McCoy said there are 1,115 new positive cases in the last day.
There are now 7,193 active COVID cases in the county, up from 6,644 the day before.
There are now 122 county residents currently hospitalized, a net increase of six.
In addition, there are 13 people in the ICU, down from 14 the day before.
There are no new deaths to report, leaving the death toll at 476 since the pandemic began.
