The Whitehouse Police Department in Ohio needed a way to kick start their first-ever “Toys for Tots” event, after just 10 gifts were dropped off at the start.
That’s when an officer – only on the job for two weeks – came up with an idea. He would do 10 push-ups for each donation
The post went viral, and the community answered the challenge in droves.
The department received 578 toys in just 36 hours. Now he’s left with more than 5,700 push-ups to do, and counting!
See how he plans to tackle all of them in the full story from WNWO.
