COLONIE – Power is back at Albany International Airport, after an outage on Monday.
An airport spokesperson says the airport lost power in the terminal, which affected lights, telephones and terminal elevators and escalators. Stairs were used to get people off of planes because the gates did not have power.
The PA system was also affected.
The power was restored just before 6 p.m.
A National Grid representative tells NewsChannel 13 the outage was caused by a tree on a pole.
